The tragic death of ‘happy and fun-loving’ Beth
Described as “happy and fun loving,” Bethany ‘Beth’ Clark, 33, was tragically found dead at her home in Grimsby last Friday.
Her family and friends have thanked those around them for providing “light in the darkest of days.”
They have said that Beth’s death will leave a “big hole in all their lives”, and describe her as a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister.
They say they have been overwhelmed by the kindness and care of friends and loved ones.
Tributes have been paid to this “happy and fun-loving” young mother of 3, who has a 16 year old son and two daughters aged 11 and 5.
Beth, a former pupil at Whitgift School, worked at Grimsby’s Diana Princess of Wales Hospital and has been described as “a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, auntie, cousin and friend.”
Her family have said that staff at the hospital have been particularly supportive. Support has also been given to many of Beth’s colleagues at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital following the incident.
Several have taken to social media to share their grief and happy memories of a much-loved friend and colleague.
Emergency services attended the family home in the early hours of Friday.
Bethany Clark’s death is not being treated as suspicious, however an inquest into Beth’s death has been opened and adjourned by Grimsby and North Lincolnshire coroner at Cleethorpes Coroner’s Court.
The family now asks for time and space to grieve. Beth’s husband has personally thanked all those who have sent messages offering help to the family:
“It has given him comfort and he is deeply grateful.”
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
