Drug Conspiracy in Gosport

Further county-line drug arrests in Swindon

Seven people have been arrested and charged in relation to a Gosport based Class A drug conspiracy, and with supplying both heroin and crack-cocaine.

An investigation has been launched by officers from Hampshire Constabulary’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit. It is focused on the period between 1 September 2018 and 1 May 2019.

On Friday 28 February this year, the following people were charged or issued a summons to court. They were all charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply a Class A drug:

Jack Zachary Darvill, 21, of Central Road in Fareham.

Rayhaan Hoque, 37, of Woolmore Street, Tower Hamlets.

John Edward Parham, 32, of The Crossways in Gosport.

Luke Alan Goldsmith, 27, of Rambler Drive, Gosport, was also charged with one count of perverting the course of justice.

Jacob James, 25, of Briar Close, Gosport.

Lance Burt, 21, of Bury Hall Lane in Gosport.

Liam Whitnell, 36, of no fixed abode.

All seven are due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 26 March.

Hampshire Police have issued a statement.

Arrests over this Gosport based drugs conspiracy follow Hampshire Police’s announcement that several teenagers have been arrested by Portsmouth’s drug squad in relation to county-lines drug trafficking offences.
