Is your business looking to invest in energy saving technology? Come along for free advice and support at a Smart Energy workshop

Do you have plans to invest in energy saving technology such as solar PV, LED lights, a new boiler or other heating solutions? With the amount of different information on the market it can be very confusing to make the right decision for your business.

Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire, a programme led by North East Lincolnshire council, is helping small to medium business located in the Greater Lincolnshire area invest in energy efficient measures to help save them money.

This February businesses will have the chance to get involved in an energy saving workshop that will be led by world renowned leading experts in sustainable energy and resource efficiency.

The workshop will cover a wide range of topics from insulation, LED lights, solar PV, heating solutions and much more. The day will provide free unbiased advice and one to one support to help find the right solution for your business.

Eligible businesses can also claim a grant to help them invest in energy saving products. Two grant options are available. A £500 voucher that can be claimed after 12 hours of engagement is achieved, or for large energy saving projects a grant of 38% to help cover the total project cost.

Also, businesses can benefit from a free onsite audit and energy report to help identify areas in where the business can save the most money and energy.

Sam Goodwin, SME Funding and Distribution Manager for Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire said that:

“Our workshops provide an excellent opportunity for businesses in Lincolnshire to benefit from our German expert’s world class knowledge and expertise in energy efficiency measures.

“Never before have climate and energy efficiency issues been more pivotal to businesses remaining competitive in the market place and these tailored workshops allow SME’s to both save money and reduce their carbon footprint”

The workshop will be held on Wednesday 26th February 2020 at the Innovation Centre, Europarc, Grimsby 8am- 4pm.

Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire is a £9.2m project that has been partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund to help support business to save energy.
