Spring Into Cleethorpes

Spring Into Cleethorpes

DiscoverNEL has joined forces with local businesses to hold an exciting, fun day for all the family. This is a FREE event and will run from 10:00am until 4:00pm on Saturday, March 21st with lots of exciting experiences for everyone to enjoy.

Businesses who are involved will have individual in-store offers, experiences and activities. Jane from the British Red Cross on St Peters Avenue will be holding “Reading Sessions with Miss Beatrix Potter” in their Readers Corner at 11:30am and 2:30pm. They’re also offering shoppers spending £5 a free gift (whilst stock lasts) and they will have an information stall on the market in the Market Place.

There will be a Saturday Market, “The Bees” a multi-sensory installation, a Street Food Market from Great Grimsby Food Fight, music and much more.

A cycle powered carousel and the Bewonderment Machine will entertain the children in Sea View Street as well as performances by the Big Dippers.

There will also be Spring-themed performers throughout the day.

What an amazing way to welcome in the Spring! As a community we are so luck to have these fantastic free events and for the support of local businesses in bringing these events to us.

I will be heading down with my family, so I will hopefully I’ll see you there!
