Search for Portsmouth man who has absconded from prison

Thames Valley Police are searching for a Portsmouth man who was serving time for GBH, who has now absconded from prison.

Ashley Green, 33, left the grounds of HMP Springhill, Buckinghamshire, between midnight and 1am on Sunday 17th of May.

He is believed to have connections in Bromley, Kent.

Thames Valley Police have issued an appeal to the public.

They are asking for help in locating Ashley Green, the Portsmouth man who absconded from HMP Springhill in Buckinghamshire.

Green is serving a sentence for grievous bodily harm.

Detective Constable Bruce Wilson, based at Aylesbury police station, said:

“I am appealing to anybody who knows of Green’s whereabouts to please get in touch with police.

“If you see him, please do not approach him, but call 999 immediately.

“If you know of his whereabouts, but he is no longer in the area, please report this via 101, quoting reference number 43200144889.”
