Man stabbed and a woman arrested in horrific incident

As reported yesterday, a man has been stabbed and a woman arrested in a horrific incident in Selge Way, Grimsby.

Witnesses described the scene as violence flared between a man and woman outside their home.

Some reported hearing screaming, before seeing the violent altercation between a man and a woman.

Emergency services were called at around 3pm yesterday afternoon.

Humberside Police later arrested a woman after launching a major inquiry at Selge Way on Grimsby’s Bradley Estate.

A man in his late 30s was taken to hospital by East Midlands Ambulance Service.

According to updates issued by Humberside Police, the man has suffered life-threatening injuries following the incident on Selge Way.

A spokesperson said:

“Officers are carrying out enquiries at an address on Selge Way, Grimsby, following reports that a man had allegedly been stabbed inside the address.

“We were called at around 3.15pm with reports that a man had suffered what are thought to be serious injuries in an assault. Officers attended and a woman was arrested at the scene, she remains in our custody at this time.”

Although police have described the stabbing in Selge Way as an isolated incident, residents say that they seem to experience one tragedy after another.
