Updates on Cleethorpes’ Gathering Fest 2020

Updates have been issued regarding Cleethorpes’ Gathering Fest, with organisers announcing that the date for the 2020 festival has been changed due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

The music festival was set to go ahead this summer, on Saturday, June 20 at Meridian Showground.

Luckily, the festival has been rescheduled for later this year.

It has now been pushed back to Saturday, September 12.

This has meant that a few alterations have had to be made to the line-up, but most of the acts have been retained.

But, this date is still subject to change as the situation develops, because at present there is still a ban on mass gatherings in the UK.

Organisers hope that the lockdown will have eased significantly by September.

Dan Flatman, Gathering Fest organiser said:

“As long as the Government decides it is safe to go ahead and has said OK to gatherings by September, then we will be going ahead.

“We have been watching Boris Johnson’s speeches with our fingers crossed. We’re just hoping for good news but we will be abiding by public guidance.”

Cleethorpes’ Gathering Fest is set to go ahead in September at the Meridian Showground.
