Man seriously injured following gang attack on Grimsby estate

A man has been seriously injured following a knife attack by a gang of 12 teenagers on the Bradley Park Estate in Grimsby.

The victim suffered a serious arm injury from a knife carried by one of the teenagers.

The incident occurred at around 20:00pm on Saturday.

It is thought that most of the group were around 15-years-old, and had gathered in an alleyway linking Columbus Way to Bradley pitches.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said the victim suffered a serious injury to his right arm.

“We were alerted to the incident later that evening and officers remained in the area overnight, both to offer reassurance and as part of our ongoing investigation.

“There were believed to be a group of 10 to 12 boys, all aged approximately 15, who had a small white dog with them.

“One was said to be wearing light blue clothes and another was described as being of large build.

“If you believe you know the identity of the boys or have any information that could assist our investigation, please call our non-emergency 101 line quoting incident number 16/58304/20.”

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service also attended the scene at around 11pm following a case of arson.

Humberside Police are investigating the knife attack after the man confronted the gang on Columbus Way, on the Bradley Park Estate Grimsby.
