A man has been arrested following an attempted murder in Hull.

The incident took place in the early hours of the morning on Sunday 7 June.

Following an incident where a man was stabbed multiple times in the arm and back.

He was taken to hospital where he remains.

A 31 year old man has now been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident at an address on Newland Court in Hull.

Chief Superintendent Christine Wilson of Humberside Police said:

“Our officers were called at 03.14 to the address where a man had been stabbed multiple times in the arm and back.  He is currently receiving treatment for his injuries.

“Specialist officers, including armed officers and police negotiators attended an address on Brandon Court in Hull later this morning where the suspect was located and arrested, after initially refusing to leave the house.

“Anyone with any information regarding the incident on Newland Court in the early hours of Sunday 7 June is asked to call us on our non-emergency 101 line quoting log number 107 7/6/20.”
