Woman attacked on Stanley Street
Humberside Police have launched an appeal after a woman was attacked on Stanley Street, Grimsby.
Officers are seeking to trace four men who attempted to rob a female victim.
The incident took place at around 5.30am on Wednesday, 3 June.
It is alleged that the woman was walking along Stanley Street, close to the entrance to Grant Thorald Park, when she caught sight of the men walking on the opposite side of the road.
The men attempted to call her over.
When she ignored them, they assaulted her from behind, before unsuccessfully trying to take her handbag.
The woman suffered facial injuries and was left shaken by the incident.
She described the suspects as white, over the age of 18, of skinny build and approximately 5ft 8in tall.
All wore dark coloured hooded tops with the hoods up.
Detectives for Humberside Police have investigated a number of lines of enquiry into the incident.
But, now they are now appealing for anyone who may have been in the area or dashcam footage to get in touch.
