Energy company Myenergi announce expansion

British renewable energy company Myenergi has announced the opening of a new office in mainland Europe.

The new office located in Maastricht, The Netherlands, is part of a long-term growth strategy for the North East Lincolnshire firm.

Myenergi BV will be run by Marc Zeguers, a renewable energy product wholesaler, who has been selling Myenergi products for two years.

The co-founder of myenergi Ltd, Jordan Brompton said:

“We are delighted to be working even more closely with Marc. His understanding and enthusiasm for the brand are second to none, and we can’t think of anyone better to help us extend our presence across Europe”.

Marc has already opened up a new Benelux market for the Zappi – myenergi’s smart EV charger that charges an electric vehicle using 100% free renewable energy from home solar panels or wind turbines.

Marc said:

“This partnership really means a lot to me. We were always super enthusiastic about the myenergi products and I’m thrilled to become a member of the team and to help spread the word. From Maastricht, the Benelux area is ideal to cover, and because we’ve already experienced the demand for the eco-solutions of myenergi, I am convinced we’ll have a prosperous future together as business partners.”

Myenergi, which is to be the anchor tenant in Stallingborough’s £2.6m new business park, is a leading developer and manufacturer of electric vehicle charging and home renewable energy devices.

Along with the Zappi, the firm also manufactures the Eddi, a device that diverts excess energy from domestic solar and wind power to heat homes.

The office, which is a subsidiary of myenergi Ltd, is majority-owned by myenergi, but its Managing Director is also a shareholder.

This partnership will allow myenergi Ltd to keep control of its brand, whilst the office runs autonomously, creating its own distribution channels and sourcing its own installers.

The new Maastricht office will distribute products across all three countries in the Benelux region.

Jordan added:

“We want myenergi, and it’s range of groundbreaking products, to become trusted household names globally. In The Netherlands, and soon further afield, customers will be able to buy our products from an expert supplier in their own country, which is preferable to many people than buying from abroad. However, they’ll still benefit from the high levels of customer service we provide here in the UK, which means they get the best of both worlds.”
