Drug arrests made in Grimsby

Humberside Police have made eight arrests relating to drug offences in Grimsby.

Officers attended the scene having spotted what was thought to be drug dealing and the exchange of cash taking place on Corporation Road, Grimsby, via CCTV.

On arrival, officers arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

Three 16-year-old boys and four 15-year-old boys were also arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug.

One of the 16-year-old boys was also arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis.

The incident occurred at 7:30pm last night, Thursday 18 June.

All eight remain in police custody at this time as the investigation continues.

A spokesperson for the force said:

“If you witness any suspected drug dealing in your area, we encourage you to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 and we will take action.”
