Appeals for witnesses of racially aggravated abuse incident

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses of an incident of racially aggravated abuse in Swindon at the weekend.

On Sunday 28th June, at approximately 11.50am, a man in his 50s and his daughter in her 20s, were shopping at the Food Warehouse by Iceland in Barnfield Road when a man who was not known to them made racist comments towards them.

Local woman dies in car crash

The man’s actions have left both father and daughter feeling alarmed and distressed.

PC Will Saunders said:

“This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated in our community.

“If you were in the shop at the time and think you may have witnessed this incident, please get in touch.”
