Firefighters rush to Bransholme house fire
Humberside Fire and Rescue have three engines at the scene in Bransholme near North Hull following reports of a house fire on Wareham Close.
Emergency services are in attendance at the property off of Dorchester Road, after they were called to the scene at 9.54am.
A resident of Wareham Close said that all the windows at the property are “blackened out with three fire engines attending.”
The fire was extinguished.
Nobody is thought to have been injured.
In a statement issued by Humberside Fire and Rescue this afternoon, a spokesperson said:
“We received the call this morning and arrived on the scene at 9.54am.
“We sent three fire engines to the scene, one pump from central, one from Clough Road and one from Bransholme.
“All persons have been accounted for. Crews used four sets of breathing apparatus and two hose reels to attack the fire which was extinguished at 10.11am.
“We used vans to ventilate and remove smoke from the house.
“A fire investigation officer is attending the scene to establish the cause, which is currently unknown.
“The Red Cross are also in attendance as the house is uninhabitable upstairs.”
