By Lottery win for six Grimsby people
Six people in Grimsby are celebrating after winning £1,000 each yesterday through the People’s Postcode Lottery.
Neighbours on Heneage Road netted the windfall when DN32 9NW was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Tuesday 7th July 2020.
Ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners.
He said:
“What an amazing surprise for our winners!
“Congratulations to them and I hope they go and treat themselves to something nice with their winnings.”
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
The organisation have raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted by Girlguiding which has received over £5.2 million in funding from the People’s Postcode Lottery.
A spokesperson for the People’s Postcode Lottery added:
“Girlguiding is active in every part of the UK, giving girls and young women a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their communities.
“Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can next apply for funding in August.”
