Three arrested in Swindon drugs raid
Three people were arrested when police carried out a warrant at premises on the Cheney Manor Industrial Estate in Swindon.
A 27-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs, a 17-year-old local boy was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A and B drugs and a 34-year-old woman from Tidworth was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A and B drugs.
All three have now been released under investigation while Wiltshire Police continue their enquiries.
The arrests were made on Thursday, July 9, when a second warrant was also carried out by officers at an address in Upper Stratton, but no-one was at the property at the time.
Sgt Richard Tottle said: “These warrants are an excellent example of intelligence-led proactive policing.
“Members of the public coming forward to assist us in the first instance leads to action of this nature.
“Your information is vital to help us in our work to stop drug dealing in our town.
“Even if you think the information you have may be very minor, it is always worth reporting as it could be the missing piece in a bigger jigsaw which could help us disrupt a major chain of drug supply or it may help us identify a vulnerable person who may be being exploited.
