A 14 year old girl has been attacked by a white dog in Berinsfield.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a dangerous dog incident in Berinsfield on Sunday 12 July 2020 at approximately 7pm.
A 14-year-old girl was sitting in Berinsfield Skatepark with her friend when she was attacked by white, medium sized dog. Witnesses state that the dog had patches, but it is unknown what colour those patches might be.
The owner of the dog is described as a white man in his forties, thinning brown hair and small rimmed rectangular glasses. He was wearing dark coloured jeans and a long sleeved polo shirt.
The young girl sustained significant injuries to the back of her head, neck and ears and required hospital treatment.
Investigating officer PC Stacey Bateman based at Didcot police station, said:
“This was a frightening experience for the victim, and I am appealing to anyone who has any information to come forward. There were a lot of people in the park at the time of the incident and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area who may have seen something to contact us.”
