Burglary in Aylesbury

Thames Valley Police have released the below e-fit images of two people they wish to speak to regarding a burglary in Aylesbury.

At around 3.30pm on Wednesday 8 July, a resident of Buckingham Road received a house call from two men who claimed that they were electricians who required access to his back garden to carry out certain works.

Once the men entered the home and instead of heading to the garden as proposed, the men instead went to the first floor of the home and proceeded to take a sum of cash before fleeing the property.

The person depicted in the first e-fit image is described as a white male, aged between 35 and 40-years-old and of medium build. He has dark brown or black hair that covers his ears. He was wearing a dark coloured coat.

The person depicted in the second e-fit image is described as a white male, aged between 15 and 16-years-old and of slim build. He has short, light brown hair pushed to the side. He was wearing a dark blue jacket with white stripes. He is described as having slightly protruding front teeth with a gap in-between

Investigating officer Detective Constable Bruce Wilson, based at Aylesbury police station, said:

“This is an upsetting incident where the offenders fraudulently gained entry to the victim’s home. I am keen to hear from anyone who recognises the individuals in these e-fit images or anyone who may have any information or doorbell camera footage that could assist with this investigation.
