Lincoln teens in dangerous trolley drop
Lincolnshire Police have released CCTV images of two teenage boys in connection with a “dangerous act of criminal damage.”
It is alleged that during the incident, the boys pictured dropped a metal shopping trolley from the edge of the ninth floor of a car park.
Officers say that the trolley was dropped down a stairwell at the Lucy Tower car park in Lincoln between 13:00 and 13:30 on 3 July.
In a statement released this morning, Lincolnshire Police say the two boys pictured have “information that will help with our investigation”.
A spokesperson added:
“We are also appealing for anyone who witnessed this mindless and dangerous act or has information that will help to identify those responsible to contact us.”
Damage was caused to a welded metal mesh cage on the ground floor and the trolley.
Nobody is thought to have been harmed, although the potential for injury is clear.
