Stabbing and brawl involving 10 armed men

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident of grievous bodily harm and affray in High Wycombe.

At approximately 3pm on 25 July 2020, police officers were called to the Hive Community Centre carpark in High Wycome after there were reports of activity involving ten men with weapons.

Upon arrival, the group dispersed in vehicles and on foot, but one man, aged 20, suffered knife injuries and had to be taken to hospital for treatment.

The men involved are described as Asian males, aged between 20 and 25 years.

Since the incident, Police have arrested three men who remain in Police custody, although they are appealing for any further witnesses who may be able to help with their investigation.

Senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Nick Hind of Aylesbury CID, said:

“This was a significant incident of disorder and three men have been arrested in connection with this incident. I’m particularly keen to hear from anybody who has dash-cam footage that may have captured the incident to please check this and contact us if it has captured anything that can help this investigation.”

Police have confirmed that there will be additional community officers on patrol in the area over the coming days.
