Gun discharged in Bracknell

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a firearm incident in Bracknell.

On Tuesday 29 July 2020, Police were called to Stoney Road at around 10pm after reports of a gun being discharged in the area.

Whilst no one has been injured, a 27 year old man has been arrested on  suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.

The man is currently in Police custody and Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone who might have information which will assist them in this investigation.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Ben Sherriff, based at Loddon Valley police station said,

“We are appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or anyone who has information, to come forward. A scene watch that was in place has since been lifted. Our investigation continues and officers will be in the local area making enquiries. Please approach them and speak to them if you have any questions or concerns.”
