Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses in connection with an investigation into a kidnap in High Wycombe.

In the early hours of Sunday 19 July 2020, a group of males forced a 19 year old man into a vehicle on Marlow Hill.  He was then taken to a disused public house in Chesham Road (Great Missenden) where he was held against his will and assaulted.

Four men from High Wycombe have been charged in connection with the kidnapping, but Police are asking the public for help. Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Steve Fox, based at High Wycombe police station, said:

“I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident, which was a frightening experience for the victim, to please come forward. We are continuing to carry out a thorough investigation into what happened. We have also made charges in this investigation and I would like to reassure the community that we believe this to be an isolated incident. Further, I would urge anyone who may have CCTV or dash-cam footage of the local area to review it in case it may have captured something that could assist with the investigation.”
