By ‘No intensive care patients’ in Doncaster hospitals
No coronavirus patients are currently receiving intensive care treatment in hospitals in Doncaster or Bassetlaw, according to the trust which runs them.
There are, however, 9 patients currently confirmed to have Covid-19 who are being treated at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust hospitals.
This is the areas lowest figure and the trust’s lowest admission rate since March.
A spokesperson added that the trust have so far cared for 725 coronavirus patients.
More than 480 of them have recovered and been discharged following successful treatment.
However, 230 people have died with the virus.
According to figures released on Wednesday morning, there have been no coronavirus-related deaths in the region since last Thursday.
