Thames Valley Police is releasing a CCTV image of a man who may have important information about a bike theft in Oxford.
After a huge surge in bike theft across Oxfordshire, Police are once again appealing for the public’s help in finding those who are involved. The CCTV image above shows a male that Police are hoping to speak to regarding a recent theft in Cowley.
Between 4.30pm and 5pm on Tuesday 16 June, a local man left his bike locked up on the bike rack outside the Templers Square Shopping Centre in Cowley. The bike was a hybrid women’s bike with black and blue details and whilst the owner was inside the Centre, the bike was taken from the rack.
Investigating officer PC Lucy Rattenberry, based at Oxford police station, said:
“I am releasing this image as I believe that this man may have important information that could help with my investigation. If you recognise this man, or think that it might be you, please get in touch.”
