By Treasure to be found in Watford!
Free treasure hunts are being organised for families living in Watford.
The Bowerbirdy Watford Pirate Treasure Hunts are taking place at various parks and are free for five to 15-year-olds.
The parks are:
August 10 to 16: Woodside Playing Fields
August 17 to 23: Garston Park
August 24 to 30: Harebreaks Recreation Ground.

Hidden in each park are a chest of diamonds (star prize), plus 20 golden nuggets to win a prize, plus lettered wooden discs – find six that spell PIRATE to win a lucky dip prize. Instructions can be found on a YouTube video.
Each park’s competition will run from the dates as above. At the end of the advertised date the clues will be removed from the park.
To claim your prize you will need to send a private message to the Bowerbirdy Watford Facebook page detailing the items you have found. A time to exchange an item of treasure for your prize will then be arranged.
An end of month prize draw will run until August 30. The winner will be announced on September 6.
