By CCTV images issued after serious Cleethorpes incident
Humberside Police have issued CCTV images following a serious incident at a pub in Cleethorpes yesterday evening.
Two men were taken to hospital with serious injuries as a result of the assault, which occurred at around 5:30pm.
Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The High Street in Cleethorpes was cordoned off after officers were called to the scene.
Two men were found to be seriously injured following an altercation at a pub.
It is thought to be an isolated incident.
A second cordon was in place on Sidney Way, and witnesses have reported seeing police searching Dolphin Gardens.
Humberside Police now say they want to speak to the man and woman pictured in connection with the incident.
Chief Inspector Doug Blackwood said:
“I believe this is an isolated incident and that there is no risk to the wider public.
“It is important for us, however, to identify this pair and speak to them about the incident.
“We have increased police patrols in the Cleethorpes area this evening and would ask anyone that has information that could help with our investigations to speak to an officer at the scene or to call us.
“If you know who these people are or their whereabouts please call us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 483 12 August 2020.”
