Armed police race through Hull

Armed police were seen racing through Hull last night in pursuit of a stolen vehicle which had been spotted on CCTV leaving the scene of the crime.

According to a report posted on Twitter by police officers, the Audi Q7 had been stolen overnight.

It was spotted on camera shortly afterwards, and armed police were brought in to assist with the search.

The vehicle was brought safely to a halt on the M62 by Humberside Police officers.

Three male suspects were arrested and remain in police custody on suspicion of burglary.
