Two appear in court in Grimsby

Two Grimsby residents have appeared in court and been remanded in custody.

Ashley Meadows (33), of Thesiger Walk, appeared at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court in connection with a number of incidents on August 10.

He appeared on charges relating to two breaches of a restraining order and of making threats, as well as causing criminal damage to a property.  He was remanded to prison and is due to appear in court again on December 31.

In an unrelated incident, Sarah Tilling (39), of Sherwood Road, appeared in court and was remanded to prison on charges of assault, theft of a motor vehicle and driving without a proper licence or insurance following her arrest on August 10.

She is due to appear at Grimsby Crown Court tomorrow (August 18).
