High value burglary in Doncaster
South Yorkshire Police Officers in Doncaster are investigating a high-value burglary, and have issued an appeal for information.
Around £10,000 worth of garden tools and equipment was stolen in the burglary.
It is alleged that on the night of 12 August, the offenders broke into a lockup at Hesley Village on Stripe Road.
They took an array of garden tools and machinery.
Items stolen include hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, pressure washers and drills.
A trailer and a variety of workwear and clothing was also taken.
The offenders cut through wire fencing along neighbouring fields to gain access, before drilling through metal shutters to the building.
They are also reported to have forced entry to a number of other sheds and outbuildings.
A spokesperson for the force said:
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the burglary, but officers are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
