Closures expected on Frederick Ward Way
A section of Frederick Ward Way in Grimsby will be closed to traffic overnight this week on Thursday 27 August, North East Lincolnshire Council have announced.
Diversion signs will be in place between 8pm on Thursday, 27 August and 5.30am on Friday, 28 August.
This is to allow for the safe removal of a lighting column.
The column is placed on the central reservation near the main crossing/traffic lights at the junction with Victoria Street South, just outside the Freshney Place Car park, which is currently closed.
A diversion route will see vehicles redirected east to Peaks Parkway left down Alexandra Road, right over Corporation Road Bridge and back onto Victoria Street down to Peaks Parkway.
Coming off Peaks Parkway, the road will be closed just after the turning into Victoria Street South with no access to the B&M car park.
