Police are appealing for information after a man indecently exposed himself to a woman.
Police are seeking the assistance of the public regarding an incident which occurred on the evening of Tuesday 25 August, shortly before 5pm.
At that time, a woman in her 60s noticed a small light coloured car – described as being similar to a Peugeot or a Volkswagen – parked at the bus stop opposite the Mission Hall.
As she walked past the vehicle, a man leant towards the open front passenger window, asking her how far it was to Andover. He then exposed himself when she approached.
She quickly walked away and when she looked back, the car had left.
The offender was described as a white man, aged 25-30 with small build and short mousey fair hair and clean shaven. He was wearing orange trousers and a yellow hi-viz vest top.
Detective Sergeant Jo Webber said:
“This was an understandably disturbing experience for the person involved and we take such reports very seriously. However, we would like to reassure the public that incidents of this nature are thankfully quite rare.
