Busy bank holiday for Humberside Police

Humberside Police have revealed a number of incidents in Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Hull which kept them busy over the August bank holiday.

Teams of officers were kept busy by reports including firearms offences, sexual assaults and robberies, many of which resulted in arrests.

On social media, a spokesperson for the North Lincolnshire team said:

“A busy bank holiday day shift for Patrol Team 2 across the North Lincolnshire area, including processing of several prisoners locked up over-night, several arrests made throughout the day for firearms offences, drugs possession, sexual offences, assault, robbery and criminal damage, as well as a number of incidents attended.”

A later shift saw further activity, with an officer posting:

“Busy Bank Holiday night shift for Patrol Team 1 last night with numerous incidents attended resulting in arrests being made for assault, drink driving and attempting to pervert the course of justice among others.”
