Grimsby Town FC’s sixth summer signing
Former Swindon Town midfielder Danny Rose has joined Grimsby Town FC, becoming the club’s sixth summer signing.
Yesterday, it was announced that 32-year-old has agreed a two-year deal with the club.
This will be Danny Rose’s ninth club, having started his career at Manchester United.
He has also had stints with Portsmouth, Northampton and Oxford.
Rose told the club’s website:
“I jumped at the chance to work with Ian Holloway, as a lot of players would.
“After we had those chats my mind was made up, that’s what I wanted to do.
“I think I will bring quite a bit of experience to the team, I know the league well. I’ve had a bit of success at this level too, hopefully, I can bring that element to our play, bring a bit of composure to our play.”
Really happy and extremely grateful to have signed for @officialgtfc
Big Thankyou to the Grimsby fans for their warm welcome ❤️ and of course the @Official_STFC fans for the good luck wishes!
Also Thankyou to @Mrcam82 for looking after me as always!
