Deadly weapon found in Scunthorpe street
A member of the public has discovered a deadly weapon dumped in a bin on Old Brumby Street in Scunthorpe.
The serated knife was handed into PCSO’s Gains and Williamson yesterday, on Sunday 6 September.
An image of the knife released on Humberside Police’s Twitter and Facebook accounts shows a jagged edged blade measuring around seven inches in length.

One member of the public responded:
“What a lethal weapon. Well done to whoever reported it.”
Another said:
“Well done to that person. Keeping our society safe.”
Humberside Police officers say that the weapon will now be safely disposed of.
