Weekend improvements planned for Laceby
North East Lincolnshire Council have announced that carriageway improvement works are set to take place on Laceby High Street.
Works are scheduled to take place between Old Chapel Lane and Alfred Bannister Mews, and will be carried out by the council’s regeneration partner ENGIE.
They will begin on Saturday 26 September, between 9am and 6pm.
While the works are only set to take one day to complete, a temporary road closure will be in place.
On-street parking will also be suspended to allow the works to be carried out safely and efficiently.
A statement issued by the council reads:
“Every effort will be made to maintain access to people’s properties in the work area but there may be short periods of time when this will not be possible.
“Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
“Residents directly affected by the works will be contacted with full details before works start.”
The works will be managed and overseen by the council’s partner, ENGIE, with contractor EC Surfacing Ltd carrying out the works.
