By Women left shaken after threatening encounter
Humberside Police are appealing for information following an incident of verbal assault on two women near Brigg.
Two females, a woman and her daughter, were walking by the bank of the River Ancholme under the M180 overpass when they approached by a man.
He is alleged to have approached them using threatening language.
Neither of the women were physically harmed, but both were left shaken and distressed following the encounter.
The incident is said to have occurred at around 10.45am on Saturday 19 September.
No description of the suspect has been issued.
Officers for Humberside Police have requested that anybody who witnessed the event or with information which might help to identify the suspect should call 101 and quote investigation reference 16/98904/20.
