Police seek owners of goods recovered in Scunthorpe

Scunthorpe police are trying to reunite a haul of items with their rightful owners.

They include a grey tool box, football boots, a football and various craft items.

The items were recovered in the Laurel Way area of Scunthorpe in the early hours of Friday (October 2).

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “A man was arrested in connection with a reported burglary on Southfield Road, believed to have occurred between late Thursday 1 October and early hours Friday 2 October, however these items have not been linked to that address or anyone else at this time.

“We are looking to reunite these with their rightful owners and would encourage anyone locally who believes they are missing any of these items to get in touch with us on our non-emergency number, quoting crime reference number 16/102423/20.”
