New police appeal after medical equipment stolen from ambulance

Humberside Police have made a fresh appeal for help finding a man after medical equipment was stolen from an ambulance as paramedics were helping a patient in Scunthorpe.
Officers have renewed an appeal for help locating 48-year-old John Teanby.
“Enquiries are ongoing and we would ask anyone who sees him or has any information that could help us to contact us,” said a spokesperson for the Force.
“We want to speak to him in connection with reports of a man stealing medical equipment from the back of an ambulance as paramedics went to the aid of a patient at Scunthorpe General Hospital.
“We believe he may be in the Scunthorpe area but, despite extensive enquiries, we have not been able to track him down.”
If you can help, call the non-emergency 101 number.
