You will be developing new solutions for Governments and industry-leading organisations, helping to transform the way cities operate, driving improved environmental, economic and social outcomes – making the world a better truly better place.

In this role you’ll join our Software Development Team, within Smart Infrastructure, delivering engineering software solutions for our Clients. Specifically, you will help shape solutions to client needs, preparing engineering algorithms and sense making analytics within our cloud environment.

The team is focused on helping our clients in realising the true value of information, how it can improve their efficiency and provide for better outcomes for projects and management of existing assets.

Day to day you will work within the Moata API, supporting the development of our technology stack, analytical tools and front-end component library. You will also be involved in the application of data science used for capturing, storing and processing all kinds of data. You’ll implement standards, methodologies and procedures for the collection, production, coordination, sharing and maintenance of data and information relating to client assets.

The role offers opportunity to work across our stack from the back-end to the front-end, learning a broad range of modern software languages from Net framework to React.

To apply for this scheme, you will have less than 12 months experience and have achieved a degree in Computer Science.

We are looking for graduates with the following characteristics:

  • Methodical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing.
  • Good technical knowledge of a range of software platforms, databases and digital tools
