An ‘Outstanding’ graded school in Hackney needs to secure an English Tutor for this academic year.
- English Graduate for an English Tutor role

This is an excellent opportunity for an English Graduate to work alongside some incredible English GCSE and A-Level students. You will use your knowledge as an English Graduate to support these students in 1:1 English Tutor sessions. The students you will support in English will have a range of abilities. Some will be at the lower end of English GCSE level and others will be aiming for A* at A-level and looking to apply to Oxbridge or Russel Group Universities.
The school can offer an English Graduate a flexible working week in this English Tutor role. You will need to complete 35 hours per week and ideally most of your sessions will be outside of the school day. The ideal scenario would be for the English Graduate to work after school and on Saturday mornings, with the remaining English tutor sessions happening in the school day. It’s also possible to agree a timetable that will give you a day off work in the week.
