ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse (Learning Disabilities) at a Barchester care home, you’ll meet the needs of our residents with learning and other disabilities with the quality care we’re known for. We’ll look to you to share your expertise with your multi-disciplinary team to make sure our residents are always treated with respect and dignity. You’ll have a wide range of responsibilities, from developing tailored care plans to keeping scrupulous records and carrying out a variety of clinical tasks. As a Registered Nurse specialising in learning disabilities, you can enjoy the freedom and autonomy you need to make a difference. In return, we’ll give you plenty of opportunities for training and career development.

ABOUT YOU
To join us as a Registered Nurse (RNLD), you’ll need to have a current NMC registration and good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices. Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is important, as is an understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. We’ll also look for experience of working with older people and supporting newly-qualified nurses, but this isn’t essential. What’s most important is your dedication and passion for providing thoughtful, person-centred care.

REWARDS PACKAGE
As well as a competitive salary, Barchester offers one of the best rewards packages in the care sector. Your generous benefits would include:

• Free learning and development
• Automatic enrolment into our profit share scheme
• A range of holiday, retail and leisure discounts
• Nurse Mentor and Refer a Friend bonus schemes
• Offer to pay Tier 2 visa application fee for eligible nurses

If you’d like to use your clinical and people skills in an organisation that provides the quality care you’d expect for your loved ones, this is a rewarding and empowering place.
