We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teachingassistant to work alongside our teachers. The successful applicant will haveproven ability to work on their own initiative and will demonstrate acommitment to ensuring all children make progress in their learning. This roleis to support pupils with their phonics, literacy and numeracy learning eitherthrough class work and/ or working with small groups and individuals.There will also be a requirement to do some playground supervision duties.Applicants are invited from individuals who have:

  • Recent knowledge and experience of working in aprimary school
  • At least NVQ2
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade Cor above
  • Good ICT skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to workas part of a team
  • Ability and confidence to manage behaviour in andout of the classroom

Key Stage 1/ EYFS experience is essential and KeyStage 2 experience desirable.

The role is for 33 hours a week, 8.30am to3.30pm
