National Star in Wales are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work with a group of learners with a range of physical and learning disabilities, studying at E1 to Level 1.
The role will be based at our college in Mamhilad, near Pontypool, but will require some travel to Ullenwood and other National Star sites so to attend training and developmental opportunities.
Successful applicants will have ALN experience and working with young people with physical disabilities and learning difficulties. The role entails supporting Tutors in providing and delivering high quality individual programmes of education & life skills sessions which maximise learning, independence and wellbeing, meeting each student’s aspirations and preparing them for life after college.
Hours of work will be 8.30am – 4.30pm (5pm one day)
(41 hours per week)
Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year.
