Roads disruption warning
Main roads in Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Immingham are earmarked for testing works this month.
Taylor’s Avenue (Cleethorpes), Manby Road and B1210 Stallingborough Road (Immingham), and Bargate (Grimsby) will be part of a rolling programme starting on Monday, December 14, with all locations completed within five days.
To limit the impact and allow the works to be carried out safely, localised traffic management (stop and go boards / cones and barriers) will be in place at each location for a short period of time between 7.30am and 6pm.
As an additional safety measure, temporary two-way traffic lights may be in place at some locations as testing is carried out.
The work involves a series of road testing holes and core sampling to determine the condition of the road, allowing for the planning of future maintenance and repairs.
