Mobile Building Services Engineer
Our client need a new Building Service Engineer to provide general building maintenance, service and repair works to commercial clients in West London, Greater London and the Western side of the M25.
Therefore Building Maintenance Engineers need to have good general / all round knowledge of Electrical, AC, mechanical, plumbing and general building services.
The Building Services Technicians role and responsibilities will include the following =
Ensure all PPM, servicing and some repair works are carried out to high standard and relevant legislation on HVAC systems in commercial buildings (Splits, AHU’s, FCU’s, Pumps, VAV’s. Pumps, Motors, etc).
Other general building maintenance tasks such as – tap temperature checks, fire alarm checks, basic pluming, BMS operation & checking, could also feature in the position at times, so knowledge in these area is useful.
To regularly and effectively communicate with clients, suppliers and other personnel in order to maintain and develop excellent professional working relationships and ensure smooth operation of the business.
Attend to call outs during normal working hours.
Punctual site attendance, wearing relevant PPE and clothing issued.
Submitting clear, concise and accurate reports of works carried out, with clear recommendations for any further work required.
Submitting weekly accurate time sheets.
Communicating with Contracts Managers on job progression.
Qualifications –
NVQ OR City & Guilds in HVAC, Mechanical Service or Building Services Engineering
Trade Course – F-Gas 2079 OR 17th Edition
Health & Safety Training
CSCS Skillcards
Full Driving Licence
