Home from Home Care in Lincoln provides specialist residential care for vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and complex support needs. Created by parents, we combine the family perspective with experienced social care professionals to deliver excellence. Our person centred approach means that our bespoke needs-led support packages are created and delivered from the viewpoint of what is best for the individual.

Due to our recent growth we are currently looking to expand our PBS focus, within a PBS framework, to further deliver support and align our methodologies with learning and development teams. The role will have a strong emphasis on improving the quality of the people we support lives and the development of the PBS team/function integration into our 5 micro communities across Lincolnshire.

Reporting directly to our PBS Manager, we are looking for someone to continuously implement and look for new ways of developing our PBS approach through analysis and developing intervention plans around the people we support. Additionally, the role will require the successful candidate to work alongside a Consultant Psychologist and Locality Managers/staff teams to deliver a person-centred reflective PBS approach.

As a PBS Assistant Manager you will work as part of our Continuing Excellence Team which will involve delivering, mentoring and coaching in the homes. This may at times require you to work evenings and weekends to support somebody’s needs. In this role, you will be expected to constantly drive for continuous improvement via accurate analysis and reporting of management Key Performance Indicators (K.P.I’s) and reports.

The preferred candidate will have relevant qualifications – Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate in Health & Social Care Mental Health, Nursing or Behaviour Analysis etc. Recent experience of working with adults or children with learning disabilities is essential. Full induction and training will be provided. All offers will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure and references. Costs for this will be met by Home from Home Care. As an equal opportunities employer, we offer the scope for professional development and growth to successful candidates. Own transport is essential due to locations of our homes. Apply today or for more information, please call Donna Richards in our Lincoln office.
