By Humberside Police issue warning following Cleethorpes burglary
Humberside Police are investigating reports of a Burglary on College Street, Cleethorpes.
The incident occurred between 03:55 and 04:10 on 04/01/2021.
The offenders reportedly approached a secured garden shed, to which they forced entry, began to search inside and remove property, with alcohol seemingly the main target.
Humberside Police, in a letter to residents in the area, said:
“If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time, or have information on the whereabouts of the stolen property, or have any information about the offenders, please contact Humberside Police on the non emergency phone number 101, quoting log 16/11007/21”.
“Remember to keep your own property secure to reduce the opportunity for thieves.”.
“Whenever possible, lock your doors and windows in unoccupied rooms, even if you are in the house”.
“We also advise residents not to leave high value items on display as they may entice thieves”.
