By Residents warned to take extra care as gritters out in full force
Residents in North Lincolnshire are being encouraged to take extra care on the roads during the current icy blasts.
The drop in temperatures has seen the council’s fleet of gritters out in full force.
Major and important routes are given top priority for salting, aiming to reduce the risk of ice forming.
These include principal and main roads, routes to hospitals and other emergency service stations, as well as a number of hills and bus routes.
