Do you remember the zombies that invaded Brigg last year?
Producer and director Fran Mineo from Chicken in a Graveyard is excited to announce that the teaser trailer is now ready to watch! Filming took place in Brigg on 18 October last year and the short horror film is to be screened at festivals and film clubs soon.

‘I remember I first wanted to be an actor but around the age of 14 was interested in directing after coming across films like Shaun of the dead and hot fuzz and hearing about Edgar Wright, and remember even them making little films in the back garden with my friends’ states Fran.
Fran continues ‘We shot this film locally, and the goal is to inspire other young filmmakers to go out and start creating as I did when I was young. This film doesn’t have a huge budget, but that won’t stop up bringing something special to the screen, you’ll know what I mean when it’s released.’

The film follows American turned British police officer Bryce, living in Britain after running away from home after a family tragedy which she was responsible for. Stricken with guilt, becoming a police officer is a way for her to rectify that guilt. But once again she finds her self in trouble after investigating a disturbance at a building located in the middle of the woods, a building filled with the living dead. She must make careful decisions, and not be too hasty when looking for her escape.
