Grimsby neighbours celebrate Sunday lottery win

Nine people in Grimsby are celebrating after they each won £1,000 on Sunday 31st January 2021, thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Bulwick Avenue neighbours netted the windfall when DN33 3BH was selected as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners.

She said:

“What a lovely surprise to end the week, I’m thrilled for all of our winners in Grimsby.

“I hope they enjoy spending the win and treat themselves with the prize money.”

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities.

People’s Postcode Lottery have manage to raise over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding this year.
